I decided to change the name of the game to better reflect what I'm trying to do - make a game that captures the spirit of my favourite fighting game from my childhood, The Way Of the Exploding Fist by Beam Software.

Major update: Finally released Beta 0.1. This is a fully playable single player main game. I still need to add the ability to customise your fighter by unlocking new skins using the token system. I'm thinking of breaking up the one on one matches by adding in three-way matches between the player and two other fighters, similar to the 8-bit games 'IK+' and 'Fist+', otherwise the main game is complete.
